Tiki Taxi's Response to COVID-19

Tiki Taxi has always been at the forefront of safety. We have taken the following measures to ensure our services remain fun, safe, and accessible for all our passengers:

On the Boat:

  • Passengers must wear face masks/coverings when on the boat.

  • Seating has been rearranged to give the optimum distance between passengers. You can feel close to other passengers in your group, while still maintaining a comfortable distance from one another.

  • Passenger capacity has been reduced on all boats to maintain social distancing.

  • Passengers must be capable of boarding and disembarking the boat without assistance from Tiki Taxi staff.

On the Dock:

  • Lines will have clearly-marked tape to ensure social distancing between passengers waiting in the queue.

  • Prior to boarding, all passengers will be asked questions related to COVID-19 symptoms. Anyone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 will be unable to board the boat.

  • Passengers are asked to follow instructions of staff, which will ensure social distancing is adhered to at all times. Tiki Taxi may limit the number of people waiting in line in an effort to reduce crowding.

  • Contactless credit and debit payments are preferred. Passengers using cash will be asked to sanitize their hands after paying.

  • Buffer zones have been created to ensure both you and our staff remain a safe distance from one another. We kindly ask you to respect these areas.

Other Precautions:


  • All passengers are required to sanitize their hands prior to boarding.

  • Our staff will not be assisting passengers in loading and/or unloading personal items, such as bikes, strollers, or coolers. Passengers unable to load and/or unload their personal belongings are either asked to leave these items at home, or leave them at our dock. Tiki Taxi isnot responsible for any loss or damages that may occur when items are left at the dock.

  • Between each boat ride, our staff will disinfect frequently touched areas of the boat. These include, but are not limited to, seats, handrails, and armrests.


Tiki Taxi is committed to providing a fun, safe, and memorable experience. Our team is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, and will may impliment other appropriate changes to ensure the health and well-being of our clients and staff.
